The procedure is completely safe and used for a variety of cosmetic enhancements such as eyebrows, eyeliner or lips. Women of all ages are experiencing the huge benefits of permanent makeup, with the vast array of colours they can be custom blended to each individual.
With over 14 years experience in the beauty industry and teaching for over 10 years, Layla Hinchen is proud to introduce her range of new, bespoke Permanent Makeup Courses.

Conforming to high standards
Health Education England
Health Education England (HEE) has produced a standard of treatments across our industry and for the first time a very unregulated industry is finally becoming regulated. Recently published in the kehogh report, the HEE are now requiring all permanent makeup artists to be qualified to level 4.
Though not yet mandatory, insurance companies and local authorities have the right to enforce this qualification at any time, and some have already began to enforce this. Ensure you have the right training and qualifications to offer this treatment and prepare yourself in all aspects of delivering the micropigmentation treatment.
The fun part...
What you will receive
You’ll receive 2 training manuals, handouts and guidelines combining all of the information & techniques to make you the best possible permanent makeup artist. Kits include everything you will need for each treatment and you can choose from a range of machines.
Classes are kept to a maximum of 3 students with 2 trainers present on practical days, ensuring you receive my full support and attention through out the whole course.
After training you will also be invited onto two shadowing sessions with myself, to further enhance your confidence and pick up any extra tips whilst watching me work.
All trainees receive a £100 voucher to use against a treatment for themselves!

Level 4 Conversion
Already qualified but need to convert to Level 4?
Our Level 4 conversion is for practicing technicians who would like to advance their qualifications to comply with the new guidelines set out by Health Education England (HEE)
You’ll be invited to complete a pre-assessment questionnaire, where we will gather evidence of your prior learning and determine any skill gaps required for you to complete your level 4.
You will need to supply current certificates of your training in permanent makeup along with evidence of your recent work. A health & safety and anatomy & physiology workbook will need to be completed prior to your start date in order to prove your competence in theory knowledge.
Prices from £995 + VAT
Single Unit Courses
If learning all three treatments at the same time is not right for you, we have put together separate courses in each area should you wish to start with one at a time. Although these courses are fully accredited, they are not part of the VTCT Level 4, and so we would strongly recommend you check with your local council on their requirements before booking to confirm they will accept your qualification.
Should you wish to upgrade to the VTCT Level 4 at a later date, you’ll be able to attend our conversion course at a discounted rate where we can submit your prior learning as evidence.
Entry onto these courses carry a pre-requisite of a Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty therapy or Anatomy. If you need it, we offer a VTCT level 3 Anatomy & Physiology certificate as an add-on at a reduced rate
